The South Burlington Water Department (SBWD) has contracted with MSK Engineers to complete an inventory of water service lines in the City. This is in response to federal drinking water regulations passed by the US EPA in 2021. The new regulation requires all water systems in the country to develop an inventory of service line pipe materials for every service line in the water system.
Construction on a new town skate park off Depot Street could begin later this year. The park developer, GRINDLINE, will now create a final design, while MSK Engineers will complete an analysis of the park site and the state permitting requirements.

In August 2020, MSK helped the Town of Bennington obtain a one-time transfer of $11 million in fully reimbursable loans through the State of Vermont’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund, a nationally significant award at that time.
