Kyana initially joined MSK as an intern in September of 2022, supporting our lead service line replacement team with records reviews, data entry and analysis, door-to-door outreach, inventory preparation, and organizing customer lists as we expanded our program throughout Vermont.
After graduating in 2024 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a BS in Civil Engineering, Kyana became a full-time team member with MSK and now supports our civil team and project managers with drafting plans and specifications, assisting with calculations, and filling out and submitting wastewater, stormwater, and other types of permits. You can find her across multiple projects and disciplines at any given time, most recently assisting with stormwater management for Bennington Project Independence, Casella Waste Systems, and municipal septic systems for homeowners in the greater Bennington area.
Kyana grew up in North Bennington, so being able to serve and work within her community has been a real treat! Outside of the office, she’s always keeping herself busy, particularly enjoying biking, hiking, working on cars, home projects, drawing, and acrylic painting.
