River initially started his career as an engineering intern at MSK on the Lead Service Line Inventory Team, where he contributed to the development of lead service line inventories and replacement plans for nearly 100 public community and NTNC water systems. He has since supported a variety of water infrastructure projects across Vermont, including PFAS remediation and water system design. His work in PFAS treatment involves evaluating contaminated systems and supporting the design of effective treatment solutions for both public and private clients.
His experience also includes designing water systems and planning key components including storage tanks, pump buildings, and distribution networks. Using GIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D, he supports infrastructure planning and PFAS remediation projects by mapping utilities, developing treatment system designs, and creating detailed site and wastewater management maps.
He joined MSK because he is passionate about creating sustainable solutions that can make a positive impact on our state, and he enjoys working with our team to help the community in a personable way. In his free time River enjoys skiing and hiking, and if he must be indoors, he can be found watching a new movie or playing cards.
