Sardor is a key contributor on our lead service line inventory team, supporting with records review, site visits, door-to-door outreach, and preparation of water service line inventories throughout Southwestern Vermont. He received his MSc and PhD from the University of Connecticut in Environmental Engineering, where he developed decision support tools to alleviate the impacts of climate change. These tools brought additional water supplies to small households, improving socio-economic benefits in developing countries. He also performed research to analyze the trace elements of groundwater for quality monitoring where rural residents depend on well water for drinking purposes in the Karnataka state of India.

His prior experience in the field of environmental resources includes working with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation funded Water Resources Management Support Program (WRMSP) to teach farmers how to develop water use and crop plans. As a research assistant in the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) – Tashkent Office he managed the projects related to socio-technical studies of Water Users Associations in transboundary regions of Central Asia and groundwater banking projects to alleviate upstream and downstream water use stresses. Recently, he worked at UVM to integrate precision agriculture technologies to connect human-technology partnership, where his role was to develop AI algorithms to study the relationships between remote sensing hyperspectral and multispectral imageries with ground truth data collected from local farms.

Sardor is compelled to continue MSK’s company vision to help build our community with high-quality civil and environmental engineering services. In his free time, he likes to play chess with his sons, who do not sleep until they win the game!
